From the very start, to the first idea, EKOBO's design is to simplify life, celebrate beauty and fight against waste....it begins with the commitment to use eco-responsible and sustainable materials.  EKOBO chose bamboo because it is one of the most renewable resources on the planet.  Bamboo is a true ecological miracle, it can grow up to a meter a day, doesn't use pesticides, fertilizer or herbicides and regenerates itself without damage to the plant or it's environment.

The bamboo EKOBO uses is collected as sawdust waste from selected bamboo chopstick factories which are in close proximity to their partner factory.
