This pocket note is made with waxed canvas, waterproof paper and a stitched binding. It's small enough to take anywhere and sturdy enough to survive the elements.
Waxed canvas is a durable material that grows more beautiful with age. It develops a patina as you expose it to bumps, bruises, scratches and dirt. The raw edge will fray some over time. It's the way it should be. It's natural. Wipe off the dirt, snip loose threads and keep on writing. When you have filled all the pages, it will carry stories inside and out.
The waterproof paper works best with ballpoint pen, pencil or an all weather pen. Avoid gel or fountain pens, as the ink will likely smear. Permanent marker works, but may take a little longer than normal to dry on the surface.
