This journal is made with waxed canvas, waterproof paper and a stitched binding.
Waxed Canvas has a way of encapsulating experiences into a patina. As you use this journal, you'll notice the cover absorb and display the bumps, bruises, scratches and dirt you expose it to. The raw edge may fray a little. That's natural. It's the way it should be. Wipe off the dirt, snip a loose thread and keep on writing. When the pages are filled, it will carry stories inside and out.
The waterproof paper works best with ballpoint pen, pencil or an all weather pen. Avoid gel or fountain pens, as the ink will likely smear. Permanent marker works, but may take a little longer than normal to dry on the surface.
